1. Who we are

The service is operated by MedZone. We use your data to run your learning account, show content that matches your academic path, improve the service, and contact you when needed.

2. Data we collect

When you register or use the app we may collect:

• Name
• Email address
• Mobile number
• Password (stored in hashed form, not as readable text)
• Academic details you select at registration (such as faculty / grade / block)
• Profile details you add later (such as a photo, if provided)
• Learning progress inside the platform (lessons, exams, certificates if available)
• Device identifier and session data to protect the account and apply the platform’s one-device session rules
• A device notification token so we can send educational or administrative alerts you choose to receive
• Support messages you send us

3. How we use data

We use data only to:

• Create, operate, and manage your account
• Sign you in and verify you inside the platform
• Show learning content that matches your path
• Save progress and in-app notifications
• Contact you about the account, technical support, or learning alerts
• Protect the platform from misuse and unauthorized account sharing
• Meet applicable legal requirements

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Who we may share data with

We may share the minimum necessary data with:

• Technical providers that host, store, or send notifications, under confidentiality duties
• MedZone support or admin staff handling your request
• Competent authorities if required by applicable law

Instructors or supervisors on the platform may see your name and the learning progress needed for teaching — not your login secrets.

5. Data retention

We keep account data while the account is active. After account deletion we delete or anonymize personal data so it is no longer tied to you. Limited technical or legal records with personal identifiers removed may be kept if the law requires it.

6. Account deletion

You can delete your account in the app from Settings → Delete Account. After deletion:

• You can no longer sign in to that account
• Personal data is deleted or anonymized
• Previous sessions are revoked

If you cannot complete deletion in the app, contact support using the details below.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted transport where applicable and restricted staff access. No electronic system is perfectly secure. Please use a strong password and do not share it.

8. Your account (Terms of Use)

• Registration information must be accurate.
• The account is personal. Do not share your password or device session with others.
• You must not misuse the platform, copy educational content beyond personal permitted use, attempt to breach the service, or harass other users.
• Educational content belongs to MedZone or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive right to use it inside the app for learning only.
• We may suspend or restrict an account that violates these terms.
• We may update or reorganize learning content; that is not a promise that any specific item will remain available forever.

9. Minors

The platform is intended for students who are eligible to use digital learning services. If you are below the legal age in your country to use such services on your own, use MedZone with a parent/guardian as required by local law.

10. Changes

We may update this page from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after an update means you have had the chance to read the new version.
